359 Days into our Adoption Journey

As 2023 comes to a close, we are acutely aware of our adoption journey, the anniversary of diagnoses, and the amazing moments we've had in 2023 that are hopefully setting the stage for an amazing 2024.

In December of 2022, we were navigating infertility and acutely feeling the holidays. We did not know what the road ahead would be. In early 2023, we started our adoption discussions with agencies and attorneys. And on March 1st, we launched our Go Fund Me fundraiser.

359 Days In. We've filed ALOT of paperwork. We've questioned everything. We've cried ALOT. We've had our hearts broken a few times.

We've also felt so much love from nearly every corner of our universe. From friends donating items for our Halfway There Festival to yard sales, yoga fundraisers, shirts and sweatshirts, and baby bottle banks filled with coins.

We've completed our homestudy. We worked with AMAZING social workers. We've been tremendously hopeful for our growing family.

We've fundraised 71% of our adoption goal - fundraising $43,000 towards our goal of $60,000, nearly meeting our goal of a fully supported adoption.

Your love. Your support. Your generosity. Your checking in when we go quiet. Your optimism when we can't find ours. You have changed our lives for the better this year.

Thank you is not nearly enough for the impact you've had on our lives. We remain hopeful that 2024 will be our year. But, we know that even if it's not, that we truly have some amazing humans in our corner. We are wishing you a truly lovely 2024.
